Position- Senior Engineer-QA - Delivery

Day in the life:

  • Software quality and testing activities on projects of medium to large size and complexity.
  • Manage full QE/testing teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Should be ready to engage directly with senior client stakeholders.
  • Select technologies and develop overall QE/testing strategy for projects.
  • Design test reporting and metrics appropriate to project needs.
  • Professional coding experience in C#, Java, or Javascript.
  • UI Test automation experience.
  • API Test automation experience.
  • Experience in all phases of the software and testing life-cycle, inception through deployment
  • Diverse experiences in leading test strategy, test planning, test case design and execution
  • Delivery leadership within Agile methodology projects (e.g. Scrum)
  • Proficiency using common test management tools.
  • Automation tester or automation framework developer.
  • Manual functional tester
  • Performance & security testing
  • Defect Management
  • QE tools, reporting, and metrics specialist

Requirements:

  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
  • Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  • Experience 2-3 Yrs. in Software Development and Quality Assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
